Enrichment Properties
Syft enriches three kinds of input:
| Enrichment | You give Syft | Syft returns |
|---|---|---|
| Email enrichment | An email address, work or personal | A contact and their company |
| Domain enrichment | A company domain, such as acme.com | A company |
| LinkedIn enrichment | A LinkedIn profile URL, such as linkedin.com/in/jane-doe | A contact and their current company |
The same enrichment runs wherever Syft finds people or companies: website visitors, form fills and logins (Identified visitor), Mentioned in Slack, CSV uploads, LinkedIn engagement and motions.
Syft queries several data providers in turn and keeps the best answer. Each answer is checked against your input, so Syft drops answers about a different person or company.
How to read this page
Each enrichment lists its properties in two groups:
- Core: almost always there when Syft finds a match. Syft keeps asking providers until it has them, and monitors how often each one is filled.
- When available: filled when a provider has the data.
Property names are the ones Syft sends to your CRM, webhook and other destinations. See the full contact and company property lists.
Email enrichment
Input: a work or personal email address. For a personal address such as Gmail, the company comes from the person's current employer. Privacy relay addresses, such as Apple's Hide My Email, aren't enriched.
Core
| Property | Label | Notes |
|---|---|---|
email | The address you gave Syft. | |
fullName, firstName, lastName | Full, First and Last Name | |
title | Job Title | |
company | Company Name | For a work email, the company always matches the email's domain or a known alias of it. |
linkedin | LinkedIn URL | |
country | Country | Where the contact is located. |
The company is then enriched like a domain, so it gets the same core company properties.
When available: phone, city, state, metropolitan area, other email addresses (emails), Twitter handle, personal website and description.
Domain enrichment
Input: a company domain. Personal email domains, privacy relays, URL shorteners and invalid domains aren't enriched.
Core
| Property | Label | Notes |
|---|---|---|
domain | Company Domain | The domain you gave Syft. Provider answers for a different domain are dropped. |
name | Company Name | If Syft can't find the company's real name, this falls back to the domain. |
description | Company Description | What the company does. |
industry | Industry | |
employees | Number of Employees | An estimate when the exact count isn't known. |
annualRevenue | Annual Revenue | Estimated when not reported. |
country | Country | Where the company is headquartered. |
For private companies Syft also looks for funding.
When available: website, LinkedIn company page, street address, city, state, ZIP code, phone, founded year, Twitter handle and followers, and whether the company is public (hs_is_public).
LinkedIn enrichment
Input: a LinkedIn profile URL (linkedin.com/in/...). Company pages (linkedin.com/company/...) aren't enriched as people.
Core
| Property | Label | Notes |
|---|---|---|
linkedin | LinkedIn URL | The profile you gave Syft. Some providers silently return a different person when they don't know the profile; Syft checks the profile on every answer and drops those. |
company | Company Name | The contact's current employer. A profile with no current company isn't a match. |
fullName, firstName, lastName | Full, First and Last Name | |
title | Job Title | Title at the current company. |
email | Syft keeps asking providers until one has a work email. | |
country | Country |
When Syft has the company's domain, the company is then enriched like a domain.
When available: phone, city, state, other email addresses (emails), Twitter handle and description.
Credits
Enrichment isn't a separate line item. It's covered by the two kinds of credits in your shared monthly pool:
- Signal Credits (input credits) are charged when a signal finds a person. Identified visitor and Mentioned in Slack charge 1 credit per unique person per billing period, and RB2B Visitor Identification charges 2 credits. An enrichment that finds no one is never charged.
- Activation Credits are charged when a motion acts on a contact or company, including enriching a record or pushing enriched properties to your CRM or analytics tool.
Company identification and domain enrichment of companies visiting your site are included in every plan. See Credits & Usage for rates and examples.
